Tag everything at once
Tags are great for organizing your portal — until you're adding the same one to item after item by hand. If you've ever had to tag a few hundred devices or documents, you know how quickly that turns into an afternoon.
Now you can do it in one move. Admins can import tags in bulk by uploading a single file instead of opening each item individually.
A flow you already know
There's nothing new to learn. Bulk tag import uses the same familiar flow as the Relationships and Credentials imports:
- Download the template.
- Fill it in with the items and tags you want.
- Upload the file.
- Preview what's about to happen.
- Confirm to apply.
Checked before anything is saved
The import validates every row before it commits a thing. It confirms the company, item type, item name, tag name, and color are all valid, and flags any problems up front — so you fix issues in the preview instead of discovering them after the fact.
A few things it handles for you:
- Tags that don't exist yet are created automatically — no need to set them up first.
- Colors are applied cleanly whether the tag is brand new or already in use.
Clear results, every time
If some rows can't be imported, you're never left guessing. The import reports partial results clearly: exactly how many tags were applied, and which rows were skipped along with the specific reason for each. You can correct those rows and re-run with confidence.
