Overview
The IT Portal team has released version 4.5.1, emphasizing security, UI updates, and continued development of our new Dot Net Core Backend. This update becomes available to on-premises customers January 3rd, 2025, with cloud deployment the following week.
Security Enhancements
- Platform upgraded to Dot Net Core 9.0
- New object security configuration option: "Ignore inherited company and global Allow ACLs"
User Interface Improvements
- Navigation menu now includes a Form Instances dropdown for streamlined access
- Password administrators can view MFA QR codes within printable reports
- Forms support configurable default workflow options
- Accounts section offers a "Show All" option when attaching devices to accounts
Reporting & Admin Features
- Reporting functionality refined with improved "Is Empty/Is not Empty" operators for more precise filtering
- Administrative settings include a new user expiration date field
- Overhauled user edit interface in user management
