Overview
The IT Portal team has released version 4.4.27, concentrating on performance enhancements, user interface refinements, and continued development of their Dot Net Core backend infrastructure.
Key Performance Improvements
Resolved Intermittent Delays: The development team identified and fixed a critical issue where security logging for object access was causing performance issues. One customer experienced dramatic improvement, with object access time dropping from 7 seconds to under 1 second following implementation of the fix.
Technical enhancements include:
- New database indexes created on Azure SQL based on partner recommendations
- Upgrade to .NET Core 7.0.20

- Added credential assignment capability for configurations (matching device/account functionality)
- Enhanced DataGrid sorting with directional arrow indicators
- DataGrid layout persistence now available
- Support for multiple URLs in account settings
Search & Navigation
- Arrow key and tab navigation for search result selection
- Ability to disable notifications for specific objects
- Dark theme improvements addressing visual inconsistencies
Form & Template Updates
- Time option added to date/time fields in both templates and forms
- Workflow sections can now be hidden initially
- Link portal objects now include new-tab opening option
Administrative Capabilities
- Company assignment column added to user management interface
- "My Portal User" type introduced for user creation/editing
- Enhanced configuration assignment allowing multiple portal assignments per device
- New site visibility controls for company users regarding Changes tab and Scoreboard
Availability
On-premises customers received the update July 5, 2023, with cloud deployments following the subsequent week.
