Overview
The IT Portal announced over 100 new improvements and features in version 4.0.13. These updates will roll out to on-premises customers immediately, with cloud availability the following week. The enterprise plan will receive all new functionality, and pricing structure changes take effect August 1st.
New Password Management Features
Several password-related capabilities were introduced:
- Password Sync for Active Directory enables synchronized credential management across directory services
- Password Access Rules Engine provides customizable control over password permissions and usage
- Password Strength Report measures and evaluates password security across the system
- Updated Password Plugin with enhanced functionality (released July 14th)
Enhanced Integrations
Four new third-party integrations expanded platform connectivity:
- Nimble CRM for customer relationship data
- Itarian RMM for remote monitoring capabilities
- Halo PSA for professional services automation
- Datto BCDR for backup and disaster recovery
Additional Improvements
The update includes a 10x faster performance boost for the v4 interface alongside new themes and dashboard redesigns. The reporting engine was rebuilt, forms workflows were restructured, and mobile search functionality was improved. Microsoft 365 features—including Office editor and license import—were added, along with import tools for IT Boost and IT Glue data migration.
